I am Marceline, a Surface Pattern Designer, traditional artist (graphite, watercolor, gouache) and vector artist, passionate about imaginary fantasy worlds and Gothic culture.
After 20 years working in various fields (marketing, office management, IT consulting, graphic design), I stumbled upon the career path of american pattern designers at a time in my life when I wanted to switch to a 100% artistic field. With my experience in print and packaging design, it was a revelation for me, as the creative potential offered by the profession is limitless.
For the record, my mother was a haute couture seamstress, trained at the leading french fashion school ESMOD in the 1970s as a “maquettiste pour tissus”, the equivalent of “textile designer.”
I remember during my childhood secretly poring over her patterns, which I enjoyed reproducing. Family circumstances prevented me from pursuing this path, but I never lost sight of my desire to one day embark on an artistic career.
Today, it is with great enthusiasm that I follow my creative desires, in order to offer you collections with stories that, I hope, will bring a little magic, mystery, and smiles to your everyday life!
